Farmer's Market Blooms
Cottage Life
Today was pumpkin patch Tuesday. I went fairly early on my way to my first job. It was a little foggy but I like to shoot when the lighting is subdued.
I love the Crows and other birds milling about
Turban Squash, all about the textures...
I love this NO CLIMBING ON THE PUMPKINS...
The Schilter' Family Farm
I did this one in a "Vintage style" to remind The Bearded one of his past. He used to feed the cows in this barn when it was a dairy and he was a Milker...
Okay, back to work.
Before and After
Speaking of back to work, I took this picture at my next job. I love what I do. I am able to wander about peoples landscapes and they are always willing to let me take a picture or two.
Before
A bird feeder out in the woods. It was a little shady and I didn't have my telephoto so I used my 100mm and got as close as I could. Here's one of the shots...
As you can see I can't quite get close enough for a great "bird shot" and my lens gives a lot of background "Bokeh" which I love but it doesn't add anything in this instance. So I have a ho hum snap shot and I want to turn it into "Art"
After
I first cropped it a lot... I tried to use the "rule of thirds" where you get your focal point on the intersecting lines if you were to put an imaginary tic tac toe grid over the photo. I knew that I wouldn't have enough detail for a crisp "photo" so I opted to go for a painted canvas look. Notice how "Bokeh" dances behind the feeder.
Here's a detail inset...

Healthy Choices
I managed to get through gluten free. Not carb free, not sugar free, ( the sugar was an accident really it was...), but gluten free!! Baby steps... Hey remember the movie "What about Bob?" I love that movie!
Hmmm... Pause for Thought
Before beginning a Hunt, it is wise to ask someone what you are looking for before you begin looking for it.

Until next time...
I would love to be a volunteer editor when you decide to write a book. Because you should.
