Cottage Life

It's been a little busy here at the cottage by the bay. We've been to a soiree and back, went to take some christmas photos and then came back for an evening supper next door. Good times, amazing food, and hard to get back into the swing of things.

I got up fairly early this morning... I couldn't sleep. My early christmas stocking contained a new canon 7D camera. Okay so it wasn't in a stocking. We picked it up last night at Best buy on the way to the party. I'm having an awfully hard time trying to stay on task. I want to fiddle with it, Take practice shots, compare those to the one's I'd taken with the previous canon. I am in awe. I'm also dead on my feet, so please disregard any rambling on my part. I was able to get my project 365 photo in fairly early in the day so that was a step in the right direction.

My little canon rebel has been good to me, but now it's moving over to make room for "big brother". Looking forward to getting some great shots... if I can just figure out how to work the thing. Did I mention that this bad boy takes HD video? Hmmmm... It's a whole new world out there.
